While most people in America are used to purchasing their coffee at either the supermarket, at the drive thru or at places such as Starbucks, most people around the world enjoy their coffee in peace and quiet, never in a paper cup and always around idyllic settings.

Café’s are very popular in Europe.  For most people going to the café is a normal part of their day where they can relax, sip a cup of coffee and read or talk for hours on end.  In America, we usually drink coffee as fuel to get us through the day.  We are usually in a rush and mostly drink coffee out of paper cups.  In most countries in Europe you can’t even find paper cups to drink coffee from.  If you will be traveling in the near future, here are some tips on enjoying cafes.

Cafes in Europe are extremely popular, most notably in France, Prague, Rome and Vienna.  NO matter where you are, you can easily find a café where you can sit down for as long as you like and enjoy many coffee or tea drinks.  Café’s are a part of life in Europe and depending on your personality, you can easily find a café that fits you well.

Most café’s in bigger cities are expensive, however they usually offer great seating in main squares where you can watch the traffic go by the entire day.  Most people in Europe drink coffee to relax, while in America, coffee is used for the opposite purpose.  If you are interested in visiting European café’s open up any travel book, there are plenty of choices available.
