Although there are some men who wax their legs, most men who do so are body builders who are professionally competing.  But, since most men do not fall into this category, the concentration for leg waxing is typically on the woman.  Leg waxing is a great hair removal system that is quick, easy and inexpensive.  This is especially true if leg waxing occurs at home.  Before embarking on a leg waxing regimen, though, it is important to know how to do it so the hair removal is most effective. </p>
<p>First, you will need to get the proper tools to wax your legs.  You can buy starter kits and accessories at a number of places.  Grocery stores, discount stores and specialty beauty stores have waxing products available.  You can also purchase waxing accessories online.  As you get more experience, you may want to experiment with different types of wax and accessories, some of which can only be purchased online or at beauty supply stores.  However, to get started, you simply need an easy to use waxing system that would include a vat of wax, applicator and cloth strips.  You should also make sure the kit has soothing cream included and if it does not, you should purchase some.</p>
<p>Next, keep in mind that waxing takes practice.  It may not be simple and quick the first few times you do it but with practice it will become so.  You will learn how to apply the wax properly and remove it with little pain.  You will also learn how to properly care for the waxed area to avoid any side effects such as redness, red bumps and ingrown hairs.  So, if you do not get the best results the first time you try it, don&#8217;t give up.  Simply practice a little bit and you will soon be waxing with confidence.</p>
<p>The hair on your legs should be at least a quarter of an inch long to enable the wax to properly adhere.  If your hair is less than that, you run the risk of having patches that are not removed.  If your hair is over half an inch long, you should trim it to a quarter.  Use hair clippers to accomplish this so you get all the hair evenly trimmed.  </p>
<p>Make sure your legs are clean and dry.  If your legs are too oily, the wax will not adhere to the hair and the process will be useless for hair removal.  Also, apply a very light dusting of powder to your legs.  Be careful not to overdo it, though.</p>
<p>The next step in hair removal is to apply the wax.  In the beginning of the hair removal process it is recommended to work in smaller sections.  As you get more confident and skilled you can start with longer sections.  Apply the hair removal wax to the area using the applicator.  Apply in the same direction of hair growth, not against it.  Use a light layer of the wax.  It may take a little time to get a feel for how much wax is enough and how much is too much.  </p>
<p>The next step in hair removal with waxing is to apply the cloth strip.  Smooth it in the same direction of the hair and leave a small part of the strip free so you can use that part to pull it off without getting wax all over your fingers.  Use your hand to press it in a stroking motion.  This allows the wax to cool a bit and to make sure it sticks to the hair.</p>
<p>The next part of the hair removal process is where it can be a bit painful but keep in mind this lessens over time.  The more often you wax, the finer the hair grows back and the easier it is to remove.  Take the end of the strip and pull in the opposite direction of hair growth.  Do this quickly.  The hair will be removed with the strip.  If there is some wax left over, simply repeat the process with the cloth strip.</p>
<p>Continue the process until you have completed your leg waxing.  After you are done, you may have a few hairs that were not caught by the wax, especially if this is your first time waxing.  Use tweezers to catch those stray hairs so you have perfectly smooth legs.  Afterward, make sure to apply a soothing lotion especially designed for waxing.  This will reduce redness and bumps and will soothe any pain you may have.</p>]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you study meditation or one of the eastern disciplines that combine mental and physical discipline, it is easy to see that by putting yourself into training, you can develop an ability to sustain concentration and to focus your mind that will pay off in a lot of ways.  In fact, that is why these programs are so popular.  Most of us realize at some level that our inability to focus and concentrate on one thing for extended periods of time is a big hold up to moving forward toward your goals in life.</p>
<p>It is no wonder then that the methods taught by Anthony Robbins also deal to a large extent on giving you a greater capability to focus.  But the focus Robbins teaches is much more integrated into your life than just being able to read a book or meditate for long periods of time. Studies proved that green tea had a lighter flavor and aroma compared to that of black tea, which makes all the beneficial chemicals intact, putting greatness to your enjoyable cup of green tea.<span id="more-1161"></span></p>
<p>How to make a cup of green tea</p>
<p>• Brewing green tea is similar with other tea. Whether it is bagged or loose green tea. It is important to remember not to use boiling water. Brewing with water that’s just about to reach its boiling point is the right temperature; this is for the reason that green tea is more delicate than other tea.</p>
<p>• The best tasting green tea is brewed under one minute and let it steep for a short period of time, it is recommended not to prepare it with boiling water and longer time of steeping because it will make the tea bitter to the taste.</p>

Polyphenols are the anti oxidants found in green tea which contributes to the green teas’ medicinal properties.</p>
<p>Suggestions on how to boost antioxidant concentration of your green tea:</p>
<p>• Temperature- studies proved that with the use of boiling water more of the polyphenols, the anti oxidants on green tea is extracted from the tea leaves. The higher the temperature used for brewing tea leaves the greater is the concentration of polyphenols to be found, thus making a more effective tea against diseases and illness.</p>
<p>• Steeping time- in order to attain more of the goodness in a cup of tea, longer steeping time is advised. Longer steeping time allows more polyphenol presence. Tea should be steeped 2 to 5 minutes to allow more polyphenol to emerge. Shorter steeping time means less or the polyphenol and greater caffeine content in your tea.</p>
<p>• Size of tea leaves- the smaller the leaf is, the better, even in size, green tea has proven the power of small things to create wonder. Studies have shown that small loose green tea leaves infuses quickly compared to that of tightly curled and large tea leaf which requires more or longer infusion time.</p>
<p>• Loose leaf versus Tea bags- it is more preferable to use leaves compared to tea bags. By simply allowing the green tea leaves to float on the water more of the polyphenol are being extracted while in order for tea bags to produce this anti oxidant, the tea bags must be continuously dunked in the tea pot.</p>

transform your life and eliminate stress entirely? Well, according to Dr.<br />
Richard Lazarus, a psychologist who was a professor at the University of<br />
California, Berkeley, you would do well to toss that information to the wolves.<br />
The reason is that human beings need a certain amount of stress to propel<br />
themselves forward and continue growing. A life that is completely without<br />
stress is a life lived in a cardboard box on a secluded mountain.<span id="more-596"></span></p>
<p>Dr. Lazarus made the distinction between distress and eustress. Distress, he<br />
said, is what is commonly understood when people speak of stress: negative<br />
pressure that results from adverse circumstances. Eustress, on the other hand,<br />
is positive pressure, the kind of pressure that has allowed the great men and<br />
women of the past to produce wonderful works of art, overcome difficult<br />
sporting challenges, push through new projects to the end, endure great odds,<br />
and so on. Eustress is the kind of stress that you would feel when beginning a<br />
new job, moving to a new home, or entering a new relationship &#8212; a happy kind<br />
of stress that differs from what you would feel if you were to be made<br />
redundant, lose your home in a hurricane, or end a long-term relationship on<br />
unhappy terms.</p>
<p>Athletes speaking of being in the zone, a state of mind in which concentration<br />
is one-pointed and singular, excluding all concerns about the surrounding<br />
environment and narrowing the focus down to a straight trajectory between start<br />
and finish. Eustress would be the motive force that joins the two points.<br />
Without the force supplied by eustress, there is no desire, no passion, no<br />
compelling reason to move forward. The same principle applies not only on the<br />
track but also in everyday life. Without that motive force pushing you toward<br />
your goals, you would be like a leaf drifting wherever an outside force cares<br />
to take you.</p>
<p>Often it is possible to transmute distress into eustress simply by asking<br />
yourself the right questions. For example, when you are working extra hours to<br />
finance that brand new sports car, it is all too easy to forget why you are<br />
doing that to which you have committed yourself. Suddenly you get caught up in<br />
the nuisances of the present moment and lose sight of the bigger picture. Ask<br />
yourself &#8220;Why am I doing this? What is the outcome I hope to achieve?&#8221; If<br />
need be, you can carry around distinct reminders that will allow you to refocus<br />
your energies on the end goal. In the above example, inserting in your wallet a<br />
picture of the sports car that you wish to finance will provide you with the<br />
means to gain extra clarity during those moments of increased demand.</p>
<p>Another way to change the color of stress into something favorable is to<br />
develop back-up strategies. This technique usually goes by the name of<br />
contingency planning. Having a plan B available, and even a plan C if<br />
necessary, will provide you with a safety net on which you can fall if things<br />
get too far out of hand. Nothing causes distress like having only one way<br />
forward. Find the fork in the path.</p>
<p>Finally, avoid perfectionist thinking. The circle, considered by many to be the<br />
ultimate symbol of perfection, is ironically also a symbol of the fate that<br />
awaits you when you refuse to move forward because you are trying to perfect<br />
what you are currently doing. You will never break out of the circle of<br />
perfectionist thinking, and distress will build with each unfinished project.<br />
By realizing that perfection is only an ideal and not a possible concrete<br />
reality, you can remove heavy loads of distress that are weighing you down in<br />
your work and instead strive for something that is more than good enough.</p>]]></content:encoded>
